My name is Kush Kumar Yadav. I believed myself to be born for cricket. Cricket was something that I always lived for. I played for local clubs back home in Nepal. I was selected for the under 16 but due to the economic condition, I wasn’t able to make it to the cricket camp.
It was on sudden feeling on me that I had a dream to play for United States one day. Soon my cricket skills got me to the University level cricket in Nepal. I was the cricket captain at Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS, Tribhuvan University) Nepal. But due to lack of opportunities for growing players and lack of investment in cricket by the government, there was never a search for the additional extraordinary talent. To make my dream come true, I chose academics (Veterinary Medicine) and made my way to the US.
Currently, I am a graduate student at the Ohio State University. And am affiliated to the Columbus Cricket Club. I played only two matches but people have started recognizing me for my skills. I am a batsman who can bowl really fast.
I have played only few matches here, which is shown by my statistics below but please have a look to my batting strike rate and economy. But I believe talent is something which need to be used in time.
