Description
Dylan Blignaut, a 27 year old South African, and German international. I am a hard hitting all rounder, who bats 4-5 but has opened in T20’s due to my ball striking. I am also an opening bowler who can get the ball to swing both ways, good slower balls and yorkers.
Played as an overseas professional after playing provincial cricket throughout school, due to lack of opportunity I started travelling abroad where many more opportunities were presented to me, and have since played as a pro for various Premier league teams around ENG, IRE and AUS.
As of last year begun playing internationally for Germany, although they had been onto me for a few years, I had been stuck up with club professional responsibilities, and club successes, making the All England T20 Finals days two years in a row as a pro for Penzance in England, and this year again in Ireland.
I now play with Germany for big tournaments only, as I have other professional responsibilities. Germany stats can be easily attained on Google. Unfortunately not as great as I’d like and compared to my vast successes around the world in various competitions, the Germany games have been on very inconsistent spin wickets, majority of games played in Germany and Spain, and then Oman for World Cup qualifiers.
I’ll attach a quick youtube video of my last outing with Germany a couple months ago, again tough pitch inconsistent bounce, but those are the only facilities Germany has, this just shows a bit of my ball striking. Unfortunately I had a bit of a shoulder injury at the time, but bowling wise I also have the 21st ever T20 international hattrick, which helped us secure a spot in the World Cup Qualifiers!
Below is attached my last three club statistics that I have been the professional for, cups represent T20 stats, where I have generally excelled the most:

For further reference, my agent is Steven Hirst who has represented me for many years and been in contact with all teams I’ve represented. Current coaches are Jeremy Bray former Irish international, Steven Knox former Scottish international, and Greg Smith former Essex and Derby county pro. If you would like their details please let me know.
I feel like I am only getting close to my prime now, had a few set backs but really want to push and excel at the top level, and believe I can definitely be a big asset to any side, especially in the shorter formats!
Would love to be apart of the growth of cricket in the USA, I think it’s brilliant the recognition the sport is getting and the vast opportunities around the world it is generating. Hope to hear back!
