Description

City= Singapore
Country= Singapore
Bio= Good Evening Respected Ma’am/Sir My name is Aryan Berry, I am of Indian Nationality and live in Singapore. I am a 17-year-old cricketer who studies at Overseas Family School in Singapore. I have made my debut for the country in the Under 19 category on 11th of September 2017. The tournament was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Singapore was amongst cricketing nations such as Hong Kong, Malaysia, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar, China, and Thailand for a spot in the Youth Asia Cup held in November. The tournament held was called ACC U19 Eastern Region Qualifier Division 2, dated from 9-18th of September. My debut match against Bhutan on the 11th of September resulted in Singapore winning the match and myself playing an instrumental role by taking 4 wickets for 13 runs in 6.3 overs with 1 maiden over in the overs bowled. Soon the team stepped foot on the Bayumas Oval Ground to face Hong Kong for a spot in the Finals. During this match as well I proved to be helpful again by picking up 1 wicket for 22 runs in 6 overs and bowling 1 maiden over in between. Even tho, the end result did not favor the team I believe that the team and myself played with our full potential through the tournament. I saw myself as the top bowler for the Singapore team amongst players 3-5 years older than me. Soon later, in the month of October and November selection matches for the ACC Under 16 Eastern Region Tournament saw the lights of many talented young crickets. After a few meeting conducted by the selection committee, I saw myself placed in the squad of 14 players to tour Thailand. The tour was over a period of 10 days from 8th to the 18th of December. This tournament definitely saw Singapore create history against Malaysia as we triumphed over them for the first time in the Under 16 category. No doubt about me being amongst those match winners in that game as I provided some tight fielding. However, I proved with the ball in the second match against Bhutan at the Royal Chiangmai Golf club by taking another 4 wicket haul for 15 runs in 7 overs and bowling 3 maiden overs in between and having an economy of 2.14. In our last group stage match against China, there was again a match-winning performance by the ball by me. I took 3 wickets for 6 runs in my 7 overs with 3 maiden overs during the game, a projected economy as 0.86. Yet again Singapore winning the match. Finishing at the top of our table and playing Hong Kong yet again in the Semi-Finals I proved to be the bowler responsible for taking 2 very important wickets, one being of the captain. Finishing with the figures of 2 wickets for 22 runs in 5 overs yet proved to be another match-winning performance by me with the ball. After seeing the various successes by the Singapore team with match-winning performances by me I believe that if provided an opportunity I can do the same while representing your brand. I hope you consider this application, waiting for your reply. P.S: I have the math videos of the U16 tournament matches. Let me know if you want to see them Regards Aryan Berry
